Name/Personality Before Birth

Did you settle on a name before the baby was born? Did they show personality that early on and kind of fit, or suit the name that you had in mind?

I know many that started thinking of names but as each month changed a little so did the name ideas that were being tossed around. I never did but a friend had a very energetic boy her first time around and is still waiting to see if he will play soccer as its what he did during most of his active times in her womb.

We chose not to name our kids before birth, so we could see how they looked, and what they were like. Not that you know that much in the first week, but you can at least say "he does NOT look like a John, he's definitely a Frank". Or whatever.

Oddly enough though, with the name settled upon before before our baby perfectly suited her name when she popped out. Did she just show her personality before hand, or did she grow to fit it because of all the time I spent talking to her?

My husband and I settled on two names and when he was born we chose what worked best...... i probably wouldn't have named him if I didn't pick before hand. There's so much you can learn about them while they're in the womb.
