organic and natural skincare for babies

If you want to be sure that the skincare you put on your baby is without any synthetic preservatives or chemicals you should use products which carry the BDIH seal (eco label). BDIH is an indepent organisation which verifies that natural and organic products are without any chemical or synthetic ingredients. The recent issue of cosumer magazine reveals that nearly all so-called natural and organic products available in NZ contain synthetic preservatives (for example trilogy) and other potentially harmful stuff - expect those with the BDIH eco label.

I recommend looking after your baby's skin with Natural Products that are organic relief for your baby's skin and scalp and won't dry out skin. Baby skin care products should have a pH 5.5 and be free of Sodium Lauryl sulphate, soap agents and fragrances.

Hello,

I am 6 months pregnant, and 3 months prior to conceiving my husband and I started looking into ways of making our home a safer environment. As a result, we have switched over to only shopping with one company for all household cleaners, laundry detergent, shampoos and conditioners, vitamins, etc... We are more than pleased with all of these products, as they truly are eco-friendly with NO chemicals used, and no toxins. It is beyond scary to think what is being put into our homes with mainstream products.

Well, that being said, we have made a huge adjustment, are now saving money with these products, and I have peace of mind... all except for the fact that they do not make many baby products. They do body washes and shampoos and such, but no wipes, no diapers, no pacifiers, etc... Any suggestions on where to get safe products in those categories? Baby wipes is probably my biggest concern.
