Peas

I had a passenger in the back of my car with my son, they were playing with a ball. I overheard him saying "piss, piss" I turned around to see exactly what was going on. He was stretching his hand out for the ball, when she saw my expression she said to me, he's saying "please". I laughed at myself of course.

LOL. I love the funny words little ones use for everyday objects. My oldest would ask for a huck and piss every night. They are so cute.

Oddly enough my daughter used to shout PEE! for when she wanted to nurse. Again I pinned it down to her saying please, but she was only about 9 months old and so it wasn't clear. I liked it-no one knew what she was asking for, helped it be discrete.

My little brother used to ask for prensils. It took a while to figure out he wanted pretzels. He was getting pretzels and pencils confused. It was so cute.

They are really funny, I wish I could record all of these funny talks, to play back for him he is older. I am sure they would find it hilirious when they get older.

I know many that end up saying truck but adults are thinking they really are saying something else. Its cute, until they learn the bad words for real. Then I am sure it can get really hectic.

Reden

My cousin had a late brain development and he is so funny because he change normal names into different names. I was teaching him one day about farm animals. I said to him "dog" at least 3 times while pointing to a dog. He answered me "aw aw". I giggle and he also smiled, somewhat a bit sarcastic smile. Then I pointed to the cow and repeated the word "cow" to him. When he looked at the cow, he uttered "maaaa". I really wished I have recorded those moments!
