Potty Training and Day Care

My soon to be three year old is potty trained at home. I can also take her on trips and not worry. Last week I put her in big girl undies for day care. She made it 3 days with out any accidents. Day 4 she had an accident. Should I still send her in undies?

Absolutely! Accidents are going to happen from time to time and the workers at the childcare center are well aware of this. Keep working with her!

Thanks for the advice. She made it another two days in big girl undies. I am so excited because I know we are pretty much there! Yay!

I know where my daughter goes they won't accept pull ups. They'd sooner deal with accidents in a mostly independent child. Seemed odd to me at first, but it works for them.

Pull ups are still pampers and children react that way. Underwear feel different and so they act differently. Are are still accidents, but they are conscious of them with underwear, not pampers.
