Hello everyone! My fiance and I are 27 years old and we're living with my parents at the moment (we moved from Maine 6 months ago). We just found out that I'm pregnant, and we're trying to figure out what we can do about getting insurance! We work part-time jobs while constantly trying to find something full-time, and we have no insurance. We want to apply for Medicaid, but I'm worried that they'll deny us because we live with my parents, who make a decent amount of money. My parents don't pay for any of our bills or food or gas or ANYTHING, and so I'm wondering how that will affect our chances. I'm so excited to go to the doctor's and get my first check-up, but I won't be able to do it without insurance. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!!
