I was not aware that the rotten teeth could actually affect the adult teeth underneath. I will know some persons whose kids have rotten teeth so I will pass on the info.

It would have to be pretty extreme for that, and honestly I don't see how you could ignore your child's teeth for that long. They must be in so much pain-and could you really ignore that?

Shame on me for post poning my son's dentist appointment over and over. He's 4 and his teeth look pretty healthy. I try to limit his juice and sweets so his teeth don't get rotten but I do need to have a dentist take a look at him just in case. As a little girl I had my teeth pulled out when I was 4, my teeth were bad! But I can't say it affected my adult teeth.
