I live in a very good district and don't have to worry about my kids school. However, my best friend's kids go to an inner-city school that is having problems even though it is just the beginning of the year. I keep telling her that she should look into homeschooling since she is not working outside the house. Is this something that anyone can do? does she have to invest lots of money? How does it work?

It's will be depend on her that she how manage it. It will be also depend on her parents that how should solve her problems regarding to this.
