School supplies

Right now a friend has attempted to calculate the price it will cost for the supply list that she was just given. Considering her child is barely in elementary school its a little shocking to see the prices. What gives?

Tell me about it! It only gets worse too as they get older. It's crazy! I don't know how some parents do it, they are barely getting by and they have more than 1 child.

Our school can not afford to supply a lot of things either. So then the price falls back on parents and teachers. I have 2 who need school supplies for the same grade and they both need uniforms. I am lucky that my dad will be supplying the supplies and my mother in law the uniforms.
