She chose another mummy!

My 2 year old is such an independent little madam. We were at an outdoor function with lots of other people and I had to chastise her for something. She immediately stomped off and grabbed the legs of a woman standing in front of us, turned around and glowered at me as if to say, "Right, I don't like you as a mummy so I'm choosing another one!" Luckily the woman was highly amused too.

My daughter had some confusion. When I started taking her to daycare she would call all the women there mommy. Called my sisters and any other female mommy. We had a heck of a time getting her to figure out there was only one mommy.

Smiler, this is a really funny story. I am pretty sure my 3 year old sometimes feel this way especially when I sound like a recorder saying no, no, stop, stop.
