Thanks for the link! I'll check it out in a moment. Well me and my then boyfriend knew we wanted a baby, so we went ahead and tried to conceive and we are blessed with a beautiful boy, Jonathan! We knew we were ready, the both of us had stable jobs and we already stayed together so I thought "why not?". We love children and having a baby was the next step for us. I don't know why it never occured to us to get married first, it just didn't seem important at the time. We eventually got married after the birth of our second born, Belinda. We continued to be blessed with Melinda after that. We're so glad we took that first step, our lives are fuller because of the arrivals of our angels! I feel that for anyone who feels they are ready to have children, consider which stage of your lives you're at, and are you really ready to take on the biggest responsibility of your lives. Do you want to have a baby for the right reasons? All in all, kids are an utter delight, they're gifts for you and its your job to teach them how to blossom into the most wonderful person that they can be.

I didn't know it was time. My husband and I didn't want kids. He had a vasectomy and, well, a little swimmer sneaked through. Imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant!

Our daughter is a little over a year old now and we adore her. She makes us a true family and we wouldn't trade her for anything. God works in mysterious ways.

My husband was 27 and I was 23 when we got married. Both of us wanted children so we decided to leave it in the Lord's hands and not use contraceptives. Nine months later our daughter was born and believe me, we have never been sorry.
