Looking for some ideas on healthy snacks. I buy a lot of fruits and veggies but a lot of times they go bad before they get eaten. What other healthy snacks can I buy?

My granddaughters are both mad about raisins and they seem to keep for ages. Also you can buy them in little boxes which is just the right size for a lunch box or a between meals snack.

I have different things each week, of course the fruits and veggies, but I will make them celery with peanut butter, veggie tray with fat free ranch, and whole wheat crackers with cheese. Mine will eat healthy as long at it is a variety.

I do the same thing-apples and peanut butter one day, cucumbers or carrots and ranch the next. I just mix it up but there are so many choices when it comes to feeding the kids healthy snacks. Applesauce (unsweetened of course), cheese, yogurt, jello.

Our kids also like nuts, craisins, frozen strawberris (kind of messy) dried banana slices and ice cream bars - whoops! didn't mean to include that last one, hee hee!
