Solids

I am starting to get myself organized. I am also taking notes from my sister in law. I have heard that the baby drinks only milk until the 6th month, but my sister in law started cereal at 4 months. Is this right? I'll appreciate any input.

I started my child on cereal at 4 months and my pediatrician said it would be ok as long as I mixed it kinda thin with either breastmilk or formula.

Yes, you can start on cereal that early if your infant is ready for it. if they are eating a full bottle and still seem hungry then they are probably ready for cereal.

Start off with rice or oatmeal cereal first as it is easier for them to digest. At first try, they are a little indifferent but they learn to like it.
