Swing or bouncer?
We got rid of all our baby equipment after our daughter was done with it because at that time we thought we were done (we later changed our minds, obviously). I had both of these before, but I'm thinking I'm only going to buy one this time. So which would you buy if you were only getting one? My son liked the bouncer more, and my daughter slept in the swing as the only place she would nap for the first 6 months. I'm torn.

We didn't use either. I had a swing, but my little one wasn't a fan of it, and wouldn't stay in there for more than a few minutes without crying.
If it comes down to it, go with what you can afford.

That's kinda funny, because my daughter loved the bouncy, but my son didn't. Both of my kids liked the swing though, so if I was going to pick, I'd go with the swing.

Most all the kids in my family liked the bouncer more than the swing so I would be getting that myself, but finger is onto something, if its about the money spent get what you can afford and maybe hunt online for the best deals.

Mine have all loved their swings. With the little one we also had a bouncer and he enjoyed that as well. However, the swing is a lifesaver in my opinion. I couldn't do without it when I have a small baby!

Both of my kids enjoyed their swing more, and most of the time would cry if I put them in the bouncer. If it were me, I personally would choose the swing over the bouncer.

I adored the bouncer when I was a baby, but mine don't seem to really care for either. I would definitely go with what you could afford, and try to save cash by shopping online or waiting for coupons to use at Babys-r-us or other stores.
