Symptoms and Gender

I was sooo sick when I was pregnant with my son, from week 6 to week 22 I threw up EVERYDAY, often more than once. I lost weight I was so sick.

Well, this time I'm at week ten on wednesday and I haven't been sick once! I can't help but wonder if I'm maybe carrying a girl this time? Maybe it's just wishful thinking!

It never made a difference to me. I was sick as a dog with every one. But it may be possible. Just don't get your hopes up, in case it isn't a girl.

Personally, I do believe pregnancy symptoms relate to the sex of the baby. I am 15 weeks and so far every "symptom" has been the exact same as it was with my first son. I fully expect there to be a boy in there at the next ultrasound!

This tidbit will make my wife very excited and happy. She is at weeek 18 haven't been sick ch....that suggests she is prgnant with a girl? That's exactly what she wants. Me? I'd love our first to be boy but I'll be more than satisfied with a healthy, happy child.

Don - I think it's different for everyone. My mom was sick as a dog with me and felt just great the whole time with my brother. We were surprised when I had my ultrasound with Dante, because of her experience we figured he'd be a girl.

I was pretty okay with dd, except for motion sickness (which I had both times) and with my son I had horrible heartburn. But I didn't really throw up either time.

I never held sway with the gender hints. I don't think that any of them really work, they are all just old wives tales. I am sure that they are right often enough to make them stick since there is only a 50/50 chance of being wrong.

I think we are all somewhat preprogramed to be sick or not and only when its not sick all that much is our body getting used to what we are putting it all through.

I wasn't sick for almost the entire time, it was close to delivery like a few days before that I began throwing up and then I past my due date and didn't feel like eating anymore.
