Themes

I am wondering if anyone had a baby shower theme, besides baby styled. I have a couple of friends, and lets face it I had my first girl when I was 18, so we were known to be a rowdy bunch. My closest friends decided to change the theme from baby, to stripper, I got the shock of my life when I walked in the room, and so did my mother in law at the time, along with her own mother.

Hope the shock didn't make you go into labor. . That is an odd theme for a baby shower. My wife loves frogs, so we (I was forced) to tell everyone to get frog stuff. My niece came and she said, Aunt Danyel, I tried to catch you a frog, but I couldn't find one. It was a cute thing

My best friend is obsessed with the Misfits, and the baby's room is transformers, so I think we will be aiming for a transformers theme. I went to one for a friend that was tea party themed for her girl who had a victorian themed nursery. We had tea and finger sandwiches and played cards. I also went to a winnie the pooh shower for another friend.

One of my sisters was in love with ducks of all things. When you walked into her kitchen thats all you saw - everywhere! The family ended up getting her newborn nothing but ducks for the baby shower, and even set up a baby pool with floating ducks in it, I thought it was rather cute.
