These Are Too Cute
Browsing through parents magazine for September there's tons of back to school stuff, understandably. The one that stuck out the most to me is the Laptop Lunches.
Quote:

Laptop Lunches are American-style bento boxes designed to help families pack nutritious, environment-friendly lunches for school, work, and travel. Our sustainable lunch containers--which come with a book of healthy lunch ideas and lunchmaking recipes--are reusable, recyclable, and dishwasher safe. Our lunchboxes do not contain phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), or lead.

For a little under $30 you can purchase a set for a child. In your choice of colors. I tried to find the article on the parents.com site but its not on there and the site is annoying. Stuff like this makes me sad I don't have kids.

Bentos really are wonderful, and there is an ever increasing range of things for children that are chemical free and safe, compared to some of the lead containing boxes that we may have used as kids.

I have never heard of these but they sound just like what we need for our six year old. She keeps begging me to let her bring a lunchbox. I'm going to look into this and see where I might be able to purchase one.

These are really neat. I had not heard of them previously, but will have to consider purchasing a set. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.

That is truly a cute idea, esp. for those little ones who's parents are geeks. I have been trying to find some smaller contrainers like that for abit now and no such luck.

I love the idea that an American company has made something we need, even if its a bit different than the original. I might have to buy a pink set to put aside for later for my girl. The fact that they offer help with filling them is great too.

Oh I do like those! They are neat! I will have to look into getting some.
I dislike that Parent's magazine site also. On my job I have found a few references to articles in there and then go to the site and its nowhere to be found even though the search engine shows it as being there. There are some other magazine sites that are the same way.

Thanks to this thread we went and bought one for my daughter for her school lunch box this year, and one for my husband for work! We love them so far, they are really neat! We'll see how it goes once school starts next week.
