Though it's unpopular these days,

the best low-calorie options are fresh vegetables! Children who are brought up with fresh vegetables as snacks instead of sugary sweets are more likely to continue consuming them when they are older.

Haha. Nice post. Vegetables taste great on their own. My favorites are carrots. I can eat lots of them while watching my favorite movie. Crunchy goodness. Veges also go great with dips! Yum.

That's true. I was one of those kids who never ate my veges growing up. I didn't like them all the way till the time before I just got married. My then boyfriend taught me how to make veges taste great and from then on, I acquired a taste for fresh veges!

Definitely! Love fresh carrots, snap peas, whole mushrooms, broccoli and cauliflower. Wish that these were cheaper during the winter months though

Vegetables are great snacks! I know that dipping in them in things makes them less healthy but there are plenty of sauces that improve upon their taste. I love broccoli and carrots.
