Travel System

Does anyone use a travel system? It's one of those multi purpose car seat / stroller things. I was just wondering if you're happy with it or do you think it's better to buy the items seperately? I'd kind of like to hear the pros and cons from someone who's used the product.

I haven't used the product yet, but my husband and I have been looking at them. We found one for twins, and we think that's the route we're going. Anything to help simplify outings will be fantastic.

They would save you money. Anything that saves money is a good thing. Things like that are also a space saver if you don't have a lot of space for storing.

I had a friend that had something like that. It was great when you were coming from the mall and all you had to do was transfer the whole seat, baby and all, to the car. If the baby was sleeping, it prevented waking the baby up. They never knew that they were moved.

The collasable base was like folding a lawn chair. It was fairly lite to lift to put in a trunk.

The travel system is a great idea, but the thing that is annoying about it is that it is just so big! It takes up practically the whole trunk of your car. We did get a travel system but shopped around a lot until we could find one that was a little smaller.

I have had one for both my children. My son outgrew the infant car seat sooner than my girl did, he is a tad taller than her. She is over a year now and just now within the past month outgrew it, shes such a little shorty. The strollers last forever, quite durable, the only bad part is after abit if in and out of the trunk of a car it starts to give you some muscles for the weight of it.
