Yes, sad to say I do let my toddler watch tv. He watches PBS and some things we have on tape/dvd. I work from home and its the only way I can get anything done, when I am at the computer he wants to be up under me. I don't like doing it, but I don't really know what other choice I have. I just hope he doesn't get addicted to it like his daddy is!
My kids are allowed to watch TV. My 8 year old pretty much chooses what she watches (within reason, of course...Spongebob, yes...violent flicks, no) where as my toddler watches Noggin shows like Blues Clues and Pinky Dinky Do...he only gets Spongebob when his sister is watching it.
