What do you guys think of visitors after delivery and how soon after do you think is appropriate? I had a c-section and I was barely out of the recovery room before people started showing up! Just my opinion but not appreciated. Give it at least a day! I barely knew my name between the epidural and the drugs.

I had my family around and it helped a lot. They fielded a lot of the visitors and helped me out so much that I don't know what I would have done without them. You may have to put your foot down though.

Hehe I know right? Ok while I know they're excited and everything but goodness knows I need rest, instead of having to smile my way through truckloads of visitors. That's an exaggeration but you know what I mean.

I only called my closes family. I did not call friends or anyone who was not in my daily life. I wanted to give everyone who would know this little person well the first chance and yet still get some rest.

yes only your closed ones should be there for u. Other must understad that you need at least 2 weeks to rest and to be with your little baby.
