Walking

Just adding walking about 3 or 4 miles a day has helped me lose 15 of the 20 pounds I have gained since my child was born. I never knew walking would do so much! Hope the weight keeps coming off and looking at getting a machine for the house since winter is right around the corner up here in the north!

That's good! I am trying to walk more as well but I haven't gotten up to the 3 or 4 mile mark. Do you walk at a quick, brisk pace?

Walking is the best exercise for our healthy body there are lots of benefits for walking it will give you refreshment and also very helpful for burning your fat and calories.

My wife and I try to walk together every day. We even include our son in our walks. I is a good way to teach kids healthy habits as well as spending quality time talking away from life interruptions.

I agree Daddy4Ever. I walk with my wife most days of the week. You don't have the usual noises and distractions, so you're able to talk and catch up. We walk for an hour at a time and it's a quick walk.

We first started a small walk 3 weeks after birth, which was tough for my wife, but now she is less than pre-pregnancy weight and looks great!

The best part about walking is that you can do it anywhere and almost anytime. You can even burn fat more because you spend more energy than you do when you are jogging, before you feel tired.

That's right. A good brisk walk can burn more fat than a run as you can maintain the speed for longer.

yes, and using a pedometer is very useful. it keeps track of the distance and number of steps and motivates you to keep on walking to reach your day's target of 10,000 steps.

Walk is simple solution of heavy weight.With a 30 minute walk a person can be easily lose his weight.I also do walk regularly.It is good for kids also.It is good for legs and with it we can live a healthy life.
