I think surrogacy IS a great option and if you're looking to be a surrogate mother, kudos to you! I'm sure it's an amazing feeling to be able to give the gift of a child to those who are unable to conceive!

As for myself, I would consider being a surrogate should anyone close to me have difficulty in conceiving because I would rather be close to that person and know what kind of person I'm surrogating for.

Well I wish you all the luck in the world and admire you greatly. I don't think I could carry a child and then give him/her away and this is the most difficult thing. If you are strong enough to do this, then you will help some poor couple who cannot have their own child.

I have thought about doing this many times. I wouldn't want to do it for strangers only because I would like to know what kind of people I am giving a child to. I have also considered donating my eggs but I am too old for that now.

I know for one I could not do it. I can't imagine carrying a baby for 9 months and then giving it to the mom. I just could not do it. I think women that can are impressive.

I agree with everybody in which you are a fantastic person willing to gve such a wonderful gift to another woman. I knowI wouldn't be able to do such a thin. I couldn't feel the baby kicking and moving inside me and then not being able to keep the baby would be too painful.

I think that if you are prepared mentally for it, it will be such a gift for a couple. I hope you really look into a good place to find a good match for you.
