It's been in the news this past week. Studies are finding that many baby bottles contain bisphenol A (BPA). This chemical leeches out into the liquid. It seems to leech worse when heated or as the bottle gets older. It's concerning to say the least.

I tell you what; a case for breastfeed. And after that a sippy cup or a glass and straw. Year after year they recall products that have already been used for years. What happened to glass bottles?

Yes, another thumbs up for breast feeding. And that's a good question about the glass baby bottles. Many moms may feel that glass can crack or break but I doubt you would have to worry about things leaching into the milk. I'm sure a search online would find a better type of bottle that can be used.

I agree on a case for breastfeeding!

I think glass bottles were discontinued due to "safety" issues - once moms stopped holding the baby to feed and started propping the bottle, I would imagine there were issues of breakage.

They have glass bottles at Walmart and Target and you can buy them online. There are also many bottles out there that are made with BPA free plastics.

Thanks to that info downtime, that's why when I will buy again a pacifier, I'll make it sure that its bpa free
