We were walking through Walmart last night when my six year old daughter informed me that she wanted a MP3, like her fifteen year old brother has. I told her that six year olds didn't get MP3s. At least this was better than last month's request. Last month, she wanted a training bra, lol. Anyone else's little kids ask for crazy stuff?
Not yet, I am rather lucky. So far I haven't experienced the 'I want' syndrome, as I don't take my daughter shopping in toy stores or places where there are a lot of toys.
Yes my 4 year old nephew requested a PSP. His idiotic father got him one. But it's so hard to find age appropriate games for him. So for now I got him some movies he can watch instead of games.
My daughter asked for an MP3 player for Christmas this past year (she was 7 at the time). It was the biggest thing she wanted, so we got her one. We did, however, also get her regular headphones because those little ones that get inserted inside the ear can be dangerous for wee ears.
