Which do you prefer

If you have had a c-section and a vaginal birth which do you prefer? I have only had vaginal births and was always scared of the thought of a c-section. Although I have heard people say they would rather a c-section.

I have never had a c-section but was threatened with one by the doctor because they said the baby was turned the wrong way. I did not want a c-section, so I contacted my birthing coach and she counseled me on exercise and holistic therapy so that the baby eventually turned the right way.

Me too. I've never had a c-section and would never want one. Maybe you don't have to go through the pain of labor (sometimes) but the recovery time is a whole lot longer.

I have had both and I have to say if I had it my way I would do the vaginal one all over again rather than the c-section even though I had no pain medicine with it. The c-section just took longer to heal and even with an epidural I could feel some stuff.

I would hope to never need to have a c-section. My mother had a c-section to give birth to my younger sister, and the scars are still very much visible on her belly. Furthermore it needs at least a couple of weeks for fast healers and all the way up to 3 months for those that are slower to properly heal, and that's way too long.

So far I have had two natural birth, and if things go right on this my third pregnancy, it will also be a vaginal delivery. I agree with everybody. I have to take care of 2 kids and one baby, and the recuperation time will make it entirely too difficult.
