I had my mom and my son's father in the room, my sister didn't make it on time but she wanted to be there since I was there for her. I think that once you're in labor who is there and what's going on is the last thing in your mind! But... then again I don't know how comfortable I would be if my dad was there.

With my first child, just my husband. With my other two, my son and father in law sat in the room until it got close to time and then I wanted them out and just my husband in there.

I wasn't crazy about the thought of other people in the room with me besides my husband. With my first baby, I didn't really want my husband in the room with me. I was on demarol and it messed up my mind a bit , and all I felt with my husband was irritation, lol.

Nope

Only my husband and the midwives for me; I certainly didn't want anyone else in the room with me.

It would have felt really odd to have other people their, especially when you have got all your bits and pieces on show. I think not.
